Research Engineer

Based in Americas or Europe - can be fully remote in those regions if desired

Required skills and experience

We’re looking for an experienced speech researcher, with at least 3 years of relevant experience and a good understanding in the following domains:

  1. Digital signal processing

  2. Modern deep learning like attention mechanisms, knowledge distillation, generative modeling, normalizing flows

  3. Deep learning applied to speech technologies in any of the following areas:

    • Speech enhancement and dereverberation,

    • ASR,

    • TTS and neural vocoders,

    • Voice conversion,

    • Foreign accent conversion,

    • Speech coding,

    • Bandwidth extension,

    • Speaker identification, accent classification,

    • Acoustic event detection and classification,

    • Sound source separation and beamforming.

  4. Good command of the English language.

  5. Fluency in Pytorch and other relevant Python packages: Numpy, Pandas, etc.
